To create an experience for the brightest stars of the startup firmament, investors and senior business executives who were to gather in the country’s technology capital; Bengaluru for the fourth edition of India’s de facto startup summit.
Looking at the TG, the idea was to create a young, fun, vibrant & a dynamic experience just like the spirit of the startup fraternity.
Startups are evolving each day and it is in their nature of work that requires the leaders and their team members to be agile and fluid. In addition, there are multiple roles to fulfil in the industry as well. Keeping in mind all these elements of the industry, we decided to base our designs & concept on similar lines.
More than 300 guests were present at the ceremony to applaud winners in eight categories. The evening began with a memory beginning on a sombre note to mark the demise of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The welcome was followed by a panel discussion about “Building to Scale and Last in a Dynamic Policy Environment.” Also participating in the discussion were Oyo’s Agarwal, Flipkart cofounder Sachin Bansal and Kalaari Capital MD Vani Kola along with Nandan Nilekani, chairman and cofounder of Infosys.

Top honors went to budget hotel aggregator OYO Rooms, which was awarded the coveted prize of Startup of the Year, joining a group of peers distinguished by technical and entrepreneurial prowess.
